The Morton Arboretum Maze is still growing and one day it
will reach a height of  six feet.  Today it opened with a lot
of fun, sun, and the playful theater of the Landscape
Theatre Ensemble.  The newly formed theater is looking to
do a lot of work out of doors (
some indoors) to celebrate
stories and the seasons ( landscapetheatre.org).

The Theatre worked with the Morton Arboretum to bring
its visitors a one of a kind experience having the joy of
nature mixed with the fun of Alice in Wonderland.  The
show will also be shown again on Sunday, May 22, 2005.
The show was enjoyed by all, as it moved about the garden
doing all sorts of things; like touring the Maze with Alice
and the Cheshire Cat; meeting three living flowers; playing
croquet with Alice and the Queen; meeting Humpty Dumpty;
visiting with Tweedledee and Tweedledum; and last but not
least - the Mad Hatter's tea party.

Don't forget the Maze (
maps included), and the entire
Morton Arboretum.
