Oak Park road cyclists located near Lake Street and Harlem Avenues.  The members ride all year.  The group rides up to 100+ miles and bike at speeds of 20 or more miles per hour.  This is not a beginners club of riders. 

The Oak Park Runners Club started in 1982 and is an active runners' organization. The group is comprised of all levels of runners, as well as all ages.  Why run alone ??

The Oak Park Ski Club is a regional organization that
serves many towns.  They plan trips and have other
events.

A tennis club that has been in existence for over 70 years.  The Club has a rich history and a fine reputation.  The Club is in River Forest and borders Harlem Avenue a short distance north from Lake Street.

The Oak Park Windmills began in 1989 a girls fastpitch ball club.  Many of the girls who played in this club have gone onto the High School and College haveing many good friends and help with their school costs.  This is a well respected organization.

A large YMCA with lots of activities and classes.  A place to swim and play ball.  Over 1200 kids are helped each year.

The Oak Park- River Forest Strikers brings a quality program for the Oak Park & River Forest region so that soccer players can learn new skills and work in a competitive environment. 

Prairie State Canoeists benefits its members and the  public by having canoeing, kayaking and related events.  They also help maintain the water ways and promote education of nature to the public.

About the Club

    The Mackinaw Canoe Club has over 100 active members/families, and we're growing. The club was founded in the late 1960's and has been a dynamic part of  Central Illinois paddle sports ever since. Several things make the Mackinaw Canoe Club unique and a little hard to describe.

A soccer club for the region, having members from
many of the suburbs and Chicago.  The goal of the Rapids is to be the premier youth soccer club in the near west Chicago area.  The club has professional soccer trainers and experienced volunteer coaches.

Soccer programs for kids from grades K-10. Spring and fall seasons, with boys and girls teams.
