Tom Thibodeau's Bulls kept the action on during their first preseason
game at home against the Indiana Pacers. It was an exciting game
with the Pacers starting off the first quarter with a 33 to 22 lead
over the Bulls. The Bulls fought to get 30 points in the second
quarter, while the Pacers put 14 total points on for the quarter, the
Bulls were now ahead 52 to 47.

In the third quarter the Bulls had 20
points compared to the Pacers 24, but it is the last quarter and often
the last few minutes that many a game is decided. The fourth
quarter saw the Bulls add 23 to the Pacers 15 and that's all she
wrote-the final Bulls 95 and the Pacers 86.
Rose and Deng both totaled some 16 game points tonight, Watson
gave the Bulls 15 points, and Gibson put up 12 for the Bulls team.

Hansbrough for the Pacers did a good job of
attacking the basket with some 19 points and 11 rebounds. Carlos
Boozer stold the ball from Darren Collison in the fourth quarter, Luol
Deng made 100% on his two free throws and he got another free throw to
finish the game off. Great game all around.
“I hope the fans liked it,” Derrick Rose said. “We were really getting
after it.”
