Kyle
Busch won the Nationwide Series race at the Chicagoland Speedway
Kyle Busch noted that he would
problably have finished in second place, at best if Keselowski
had not run out of fuel.
"I don't think I would have had a
shot to win the race," Busch said. "It was going to take too much to
get alongside of Joey, had the restart gone with Keselowski in place. …
I couldn't make the third lane work around the outside.
With a green-white-checkered finish
Kyle Busch took the Dollar General 300 mile
race with three extra laps past the scheduled amount.
Busch defeated Logano on the restart of Lap # 202. He held that
gain in position until a caution was called for an accident at
the Chicagoland Speedway.
Kyle Busch was pronounced the winner in
the series for the 7th time this year.
Kevin Harvick scored the pole in
Nationwide Series qualifying for the Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland
Speedway, but finished the race in 7th place, though he has won here in
the past.

Danica Patrick, was born only 100 miles from the Joliet race track, in Roscoe,
Illinois. She is racing in her home state and hopes some of the
local fans will come out to see her race.
Danica Patrick isn't the only local
driver in this race from Illinois. Justin Allgaier, is from
Riverton, and that's about 160 miles from the track.
Danica Patrick finished her career
best 24th in her fifth Nationwide start this evening.
