The
Cleveland Cavaliers face the Boston Celtics next, having Eliminated the Chicago Bulls
from their playoff hopes beating The Hometown favorites 96-94
The
Chicago Bulls are no longer blocking the Cleveland Cavaliers from their pursuit of the
prize. The Cavaliers were fortunate enough to have LeBron James in good
form, along with the rest of the team.
Derrick
Rose scored 31 points and Luol Deng 26 for the Chicago Bulls, and those are great numbers,
but in the end the arithmetic was a loss of two points and second place
is losing in this game. It was a well played game from the start
and the Bulls came back from a larger gap but failed to pass the gents
from Cleveland.
"I don't
even think about that stuff," Del Negro added when he was asked if he
thought he had coached his last game. "I enjoy the experience, I enjoy
the competitiveness. It's about the players to me. I'm proud of the
guys, I'm proud of the way they stuck together. They played hard and
played through adversity."
Rose
spoke after the game and felt that the Coach would keep his job, he did
get them to the playoffs.
