Chicago Bears are “Undefeated” after decisive win over the Dallas Cowboys 27-20

Jay Cutler has become the “Best” quarterback in the National Football League after the stellar performance in Dallas in week two.

The Dallas defense gave Jay Cutler fits early on and he was bruised and abused early. He ran for his life in the early going, easily running more yardage laterally than forward.

"We knew we were going to get their best punch early. They were coming off a tough loss and wanting to put a good showing here at home. We had to ride the wave a little bit, we emptied it out a few times got them to settle down, and hit Greg over the middle on a busted coverage. So once we started attacking them a little more we settled down in some.

The key play to Olsen… took the pressure off.

"We knew were going to have a tough time taking seven steps and protecting everything and being able to dump the guy down the field, so we thought the next best thing was to empty it out and see if they wanted to blitz or if they wanted to play soft and get it out quick. The first time we did we brought Kreutz up the middle and dropped Greg. We have to take advantage of those things."

The Best game as Chicago Bear?

"Got to go back and look at it, but we did some good things and missed a few things, but I am just proud of these guys. It so rocky those 2 or 3 series and those guys stuck in it. I thought the receivers played a great game. I thought Devin Hester had one of his best games. It was just staying in it for four quarters and Devin probably didn't get as many balls as he would have liked, but we still got him the ball and he made some big plays for us.

Losing your left tackle the first couple of series..And adjustments made..

"Going against a guy like DeMarcus Ware, you always got to be weary of him. Frank hadn't played left in a long, long time he had been practicing right for so hard so it's tough in the middle of a game for a guy to switch over like that and then go against a guy like DeMarcus Ware. So you got to be proud of his effort going out there. He left a few things, but I thought he played phenomenal right down the stretch."

Jay Cutler on his offense

"We are trying to get them the ball, get them match-ups with Greg and Matt and those guys. When we sent them out there, I wasn't sure exactly what we were going to get wither they were going to zone it out, but we got the match-ups and won it."

Mike Martz and his offense, a different look for the Chicago Bears

"When Mike got here with this offense, I don't think you need a update number one, I don't think you need that guy because the ball is going in so many directions. We are creating so many match-ups for guys; I think it's almost even a bigger advantage to have what we have, and have a lot of weapons. It keeps teams off balance. They don't know where we are going or what we are doing in some of these formations or where we are headed, so it is working out to our advantage and we have a guy like Mike Martz who knows how to take advantage of all that." Said Cutler

Confidence is important, don’t you think?

"It's a fourth quarter game. I think we are all maturing as offense all maturing my 5th year. Going through the ups and downs and I think last year helped a lot going through that struggle but it helps the ride, it's a long game, it's a long season so we just got to stick in there. I have all the confidence in Mike and his play calling ability, giving us our plays and making the proper adjustments, which we did."

Winning the fans confidence…and the respect of Chicago

"It's still early, I think everyone in the locker room understands that. There are 14 games left, there is a lot of tough games left, but Bears fans travel well. They always have and they always will. We have a big test next week, Monday night and we got to start getting ready for it."

Greg Olsen, a factor the Dallas Defense did not expect.

"We had to make a big change early with Chris getting hurt. We moved Frank from right to left and Shaffer into right. Anytime you shift guys in the offensive line, it's going to take a minute for everyone to get settled in and get comfortable. Once we got everything settled down and Coach Tice got them running, they played amazing the rest of the game. We kept a good defensive front at bay and our guys on the outside were able to make a lot of plays."

"It's a good win. All wins in the NFL are good. People think that winning the NFL is easy. It's not easy. To come on the road against an NFC team and to be 2-0 right now with a big Monday game against Green Bay, it's the best we can be at this point."

Olsen on Jay Cutler: "He played great. He got hit a couple times early. He hung in there. He's tough. He got the ball to a lot of different guys who were able to make plays."

"With the way our defense was playing, we knew if we scored one more time in the fourth quarter...we felt we had a pretty good chance with five minutes to go up by ten."

Devin Hester, emerges on offense.
