Take Pole for
LifeLock.com 400
at
Chicagoland Speedway
JOLIET,
Ill. - Brian Vickers takes the pole
for
the
LifeLock.com 400 Saturday at the Chicagoland Speedway. Vickers
captured his 5th
pole of the season in 15 qualifying attempts as he turned a lap at
the 1.5-mile racetrack in 29.322 seconds (184.162 mph) Thursday.
Vickers teammate Scott Speed turned-in the 2nd
fastest lap 182.958 mph to edge Jimmy Johnson (182.217 mph) for the
second starting spot.

"I'm
very frustrated to not be in Victory Lane," Vickers said.
"Sitting on poles this year was one of our goals. Winning races
was, too. If I had to pick between the two, I'd pick wins over poles,
but we'll take whatever we can get and we're really proud of the
poles we've sat on this year.”
