Mustangs Roll
over St. Patrick 33 - 14... Advance to Next Round Against Elk Grove.
by Dan Peters
St. Patrick worked on a
game plan all week ... to contain running back Andy Lange.. But they
forgot about quarterback Bryan Porter.
St. Patrick's Defense
was tested early in the Mustang's first drive of the game. Porter's 72
yard run on the first play from scrimmage set the tone for the
game. "I noticed on film that their defensive ends (St.
Patrick) crash inward" said Porter who was impressive on the
evening with 124 yards rushing on 16 carries and scored two
touchdowns. "We had the first play scripted all week, and we worked
hard on it"
Rolling Meadows
charged to an early 14 point lead on Andy Lange's 14 yard touchdown run
with 6:30 left in the first quarter. Lange also had another

The Mustangs regained
the lead for good with 42 seconds left in the third quarter on another
Lange run of 18 yards. The victory was sealed when Porter threw a 46
yard touchdown pass to Matt McFall. Later with 5:25 left, Porter scored
the final touchdown on a 15 yard burst.

The Mustang's defense
held St. Patrick to 123 yards.. Impressive indeed. Not only did Lange
score points, he intercepted St. Patrick three times.
The Mustangs improved to
7-4 and will advance to the next round with another home game against El Grove. Elk Grove defeated
Meadows 35-21 earlier this season.
The Mustangs Played Elk Grove on Friday 11/12/04 and
beat them 28-21. Many have their hopes up as the Suburban team
