Is not only worth seeing, it's worth experiencing.
The whole show could leave any day for New York
and be on Television in moments.  This cast is nuts,
in a good way though.

This is humour that exceeds the bounds of standard
TV, it might be offensive to some people of color,
or some white folks, some people who live in some
southern states, some people who might even live in
Cicero.

If you find nothing offensive in this presentation you
are drinking too much, so tip your wait person well
and have someone else drive you home.

This is a great show.  Parking is across the street.

Embryos On Ice! or Fetus Don 't Fail Me Now on Thursday
September 20, 2001 at 8:30 pm at The Second City
(1616 North Wells, Chicago).

Second City's 87"' revue followed a unique development process, as
the ensemble conducted weeks of workshops under the direction of
noted clown artist Michael Kennard (Mump & Smoot) and a week
of workshops with Second City artistic associate Mick Napier. Six
weeks later, veteran Second City director Jeff Richmond was brought
in to complete the process. The results are an eclectic mix of theme-based
comedy theatre, rich in character with the ever familiar satiric Second
City edge.

Embryos On Ice! or Fetus Don't Fail Me Now finds a common theme
in life's journey - from conception to deception to redemption. A young
couple uses a machine to genetically engineer their newborn, producing
a multi-racial athlete who's not bitchy; a look at America's census proves
that numbers provide an extremely effective tool for lies and manipulation;
and an appearance by God serves only to evoke questions about lost
car keys and why he made so many white people.

Craig Cackowski, Debra Downing, Nyima Funk, Ed Furman,
Martin Garcia, Sue Gillan, and David Pompeii.
