January 17, 1920  Prohibition began in the United
States and was a hit  if you were a bootlegger.

Tommy Guns Garage at 1239 S. State Street in Chicago
is a fun filled evening waiting to happen for you and
your friends.  When you make your reservation you're
given a secret password to gain entrance to the club.
You enter through a rear door (where else?) and "Gloves",
the doorman will let you in if you know the password.
The show is a whole evening of entertainment.  The night
we went, we were there for about four hours. All of the
waiters and waitresses are also singers, dancers, and
actors on and off the stage.  They also have an ongoing
incentive that if you fill out a card at the end of the
show you can get a free show on your birthday, that
could save you $55.00 and that's not bad.  It's a fun
event and the food is good too.
