This is a little bit late, but I never had a chance to write in this. Mom, you were an amazing women who had basically been my world for the last 13 years.

When this tragedy occurred almost six months ago, I could not make sense of it, but know I have begun to make what little sense of this I can. God wanted you, and for every reason in the world, I can see why. That last day you were in so much pain that I am happy you are no longer suffering.

I know you want all of us to move on but remember you as well. Mom, I love you and I always will. You have an amazingly important part of my life even
now almost six months later.

Just know that you will NEVER be forgotten.

I have not seen Courtney in well over 25 years, and it was a shock to me that she had passed away. I used to work at the bowling lanes in Glenwood where
she used to come in and shoot pool quite regularly, and she always struck me
as someone who had it going on for them. She had a wonderful personality
and she always brought a smile to my face. She made quite an impression on those who knew her and she went way too young. Her mom was also my substitute teacher while I went to H-F.

My sympathies to her entire family for their loss.

I remember Courtney, more then 20 years ago, as the young lady who came with Dave Colmar to South Holland when Chapman-Kikkert was bought
out by Naughton Realtors. She had a huge smile, a wonderful outlook,
ambition and the world ahead of her. God called her home far too young,
but guess he needed someone with her personality - though she left us with
lots of life ahead. You will be missed by many!

person for everything. I will truly miss her for she was not just a co-worker
and neighbor; she was also my friend.

"In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious." 1

Courtney,

You will be truly missed by us. It saddens us to know that GOD has taken you from us at such a young age when you had so much more to share and touch the lives of others.

It was a blessing to have you in our lives.

Love,
