SNOW DAY AND SNOW WAY TO GET TO SCHOOL
Don't forget Barrie Park for your sleds etc...

Due to the severe weather that descended upon the area the past few hours, all District 97 classes and after school activities, including parent-teacher conferences and Hephzibah programming, have been canceled for Wednesday, February 2.

In addition, the district’s administration building will be closed.

We recommend you follow the advice of the National Weather Service when it comes to travel during the next couple days, and exercise care and caution when removing snow from your steps, sidewalk and driveway.

Barring any additional inclement weather, we anticipate classes will be back in session on Thursday, February 3. Please note, though, that Thursday and Friday are early dismissal days for parent-teacher conferences.

The
elementary schools will dismiss at 11 a.m. and the middle schools will dismiss at noon.  We encourage you to continue monitoring e-mail, the district’s family of Web sites and the local media for updates about the weather and its impact on district operations.

DISTRICT 200 IS ALSO CLOSED
