Earth Hour has been
called a great success this year from people all over the world.
Some had thought that with all of the other problems we face it might
have gone unnoticed. Many large cities around the world took
place in shutting down their power and bringing people's attention to
the climate and the world.
March 28th,
2009 Saturday from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm is
Worldwide Earth Hour. Everyone is encouraged to turn off
their lights for an hour to reduce energy and reflect on the earth
and its joys and concerns.

The Event does not make a big change in the
World but it does give one pause to think of
the World and our place in it. It also
helps
to remind us that what we do does matter in
all things. The Environment,
politics, and
our own lives all make a difference so turn out
the lights for an hour and relax, it won't hurt.
You can always walk the dog, a friend, or go
out for movie, a burger, or gaze at
the sky.
