Tree Walk and Talk: Join us for an enjoyable stroll through the magnificent woodlands of Thatcher Woods. We’ll learn how to identify some trees by leaf, bark and habitat, and discuss their importance to humans and wildlife. Adult program; free. Please register at 708-366-6530. Nature Story Time: Nature-inspired stories, crafts and activities for ages 3 – 5 with an adult. $1.00 per child. Thursdays, June 5th and 19th; at10:30 a.m.

 

Going Buggy!: Children grades K – 2nd are invited to see the world through insect eyes, eat like a bug, make crazy bug sounds, and go hunting for live bugs on an insect safari! $1.00 per child. Call 708-366-6530 to register. Sunday, June 8th, 1:00 p.m.

Morning Fitness Hike: Enjoy a brisk Naturalist-led hike
on the first day of summer on the scenic trails surrounding Trailside Museum. For adults; free. Saturday, June 21,

Feeding Time at Trailside: Enjoy seeing and learning about Trailside’s resident outdoor animals such as a turkey vulture, hawk, coyote and fox as we give these critters their dinner! Free! Sunday, June 29th, 2:30 p.m.
