Bank Robbers Attack and Flee with Funds
from Chase JPMorgan Bank for Second
Time in a Month.

This latest robbery did not yield the same $200,000.00
plus dollars as the previous robbery had.  It was also
a different manner and different robbers this time.

Two young black men wearing hoods and producing a
pistol robbed the Chase JPMorgan Bank of a smaller
undisclosed sum of money on January 4th, at the
800 Madison drive up facility (corner of Oak Park Ave
and Madison Street).  The robbery took place a little
past 9:00 a.m., shortly after the opening of the Bank.

No one was harmed, as tellers handed over some cash.
The robbers were said to have left in a blue Saturn
or similar looking car.  The banks photos may assist
in their identies, or to at least help comparing to other
crimes and possible photos taken.

There have been similar robberies at other banks in
the area in the past months, in terms of the actions
and appearances of the individuals.  The robbery
of the $200,000.00 plus dollars on December 7, 2006
from the Chase JPMorgan Bank at 933 Madison was
committed
by a single white man who may be connected
to a series of other
robberies in the Western Suburbs.  The larges sums of money that have been robbed from Oak
Park has been
kept very quiet by the police of several
towns on the
official level.  The Oak Park Police broadcast
on their
radios the $200,000.00 amount during the
investigation
and the transmitter was quickly corrected and
told to
stop with the information.  The Oak Park police who
came on duty later in the day were even unaware of the
amounts when speaking to other police officals in the
area.  No news source other than the Suburban Journals
of Chicago and its other papers has this information.
