CATS- Caryn Ott, Lauren McCarty, Ericka Mac, Dina DiCostanzo,
Melissa Mulvaney, Cara Salerno, and Leslie Taylor

CATS
Opens July 5 at Theatre at the Center
Based on 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' and other poems by T.S. Eliot
review by Ed Vincent

Cats, a hit on Broadway, keeps fans wanting more. The make up,
dance numbers, cat antics, and talent on all fronts makes this a
grand experience for the whole family. It does not travel with as
many hits as Phantom of the Opera, but thats really not a fair
comparison.  There are some songs in Cats that will be remembered
after many Tony awards have faded from memory and history.

This production has fun sets and lots surround action on all fronts.
I would suggest front center seats for the best visuals, though
all seats will work.

Katherine Condit as “Grizabella”and Larry Adams as “Old Deuteronomy” Larry Adams

If it wasn't so inimate with your proximity to the stage, you could
be on Broadway--a nice production.

Get your tickets soon, it is not scheduled to run years here.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber Smash Hit Musical

CATS
Opens July 5 at Theatre at the Center
Based on 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' and other poems by T.S. Eliot

Directed and Choreographed by Stacey Flaster

Munster, IN — Theatre at the Center is proud to present one of the most beloved and successful musicals of all time, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS.  Translated in over 20 languages, the Tony award-winning hit previews June 28, opens July 5 and runs through August 19 at Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana.  CATS will be directed and choreographed by Stacey Flaster.

The Jellicle Ball is a particularly special night once a year when the tribe of Jellicle cats unite to celebrate who they are. They emerge from the darkened hiding places into a larger-than-life abandoned theater, singing of their unique abilities and special qualities.  The cats are at first suspicious and proud, reluctant to allow an audience into their domain.

One by one the cats step forward to showcase their talents and reveal who they are in an audition for the role to make the special journey to reincarnation.  The musical, perfect for the entire family, showcases characters from all walks of life who are metaphors of characters from different parts of society. CATS’ beautiful score features the international hit, “Memory”.

CATS stars Katherine Condit as “Grizabella”, Larry Adams as “Old Deuteronomy” and Scott Alan Jones as “Rum Tum Tugger”.

Set Design for CATS is by Jack Magaw, Lighting Design is by Tim Fandrei, Costume Design is by Janice Pytel with Wig Design by Kevin Barthel and Make-up Design by Katherine Condit.  Sound Design is by Victoria DeIorio, Props Design is by Stanlee Hodsden, Production Manager is Chuck Gessert, Stage Manager is Rita Vreeland and Technical Director is Ann Davis.
