Troubleshooting in the Organic Garden
Thursday June 22nd and Thursday June 27th, 6:30pm-7:30pm, free
Come with questions for Bill Scheffler of Pure Prairie Organics about diseases or insect damage in your garden.
 
 
June Activities for Kids and Families 
 
Morning Glory Mondays
Mondays, Drop in between 10am and Noon, free
Bring your preschooler to this weekly activity time in the Elizabeth Morse Genius Children's Garden to enjoy learning together.  Activities are designed with a storybook in mind, and change weekly.
 
Sleuthing Thursdays
Thursdays, Drop in between 5pm and 8pm, free
Hunt through the conservatory for the pictures you see on your hunt sheet, and once you have found all of the secret plants, return to the front lobby for a special prize.  Hunts change weekly.
 
Weekend Family Fun
Saturdays and Sundays, Drop in between Noon and 3pm, free
Family activities will be available every weekend in either the Demonstration Garden, weather permitting, or the Elizabeth Morse Genius Children's Garden.  Kids will love the activities in store - such as digging in the dirt, hunting for secret plants, and playing with worms!  Activities change weekly.  Plus, special hands-on projects will be available for families to work on together between 1pm and 2pm!

Gardeners at Work in the Demonstration Garden
Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10am-Noon; Thursdays, 6pm-7:30pm
Visit our hard-working gardeners to see what they are planting, or if you're lucky, they'll be harvesting something you can taste!  Many workers are Master Gardeners who will be happy to answer questions and discuss their work.
 
Bees at Work in the Demonstration Garden   
Saturdays, 10am-10:30am
Watch the beekeepers check our working bee hive to see what all the buzz is about!
 
Weekend Plant Information Clinic
Saturdays and Sundays, Drop in between 11am and 4pm, free
University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners are available in the Conservatory's front lobby to look at your plants or just answer questions.

*4th Annual Jazz Under the Stars*
Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual Jazz Under the Stars on Friday, July 28th from 6pm to 11pm!  More information will be coming soon about the performances, good food, and friends you can expect at this exciting event!  $10 for members/$25 for non-members.
